Online composing tools

The Grade 5A students have been exploring a number of online options to learn about orchestral instruments, sampled voices, and synthesized sounds. The three sites are nyphilkids.org, incredibox.com and patatap.com. As the students explore the online resources now, they'll have a library of sounds to choose from in the composing future.

Students in 5B started the new year with a math activity focused on finding patterns and artistically representing numbers.  Students were encouraged to think outside the box when describing their patterns.
